"A cat has absolute emotional honesty: human beings, for one reason or another, may hide their feelings, but a cat does not."
--Ernest Hemingway

Our work is hard and our costs are tremendous. We spend thousands of dollars each month on food, litter, medicine, and veterinary care.

Donations and Support

Donations are greatly needed

As the "kitten" season is upon us, we are asking to please help Just Strays by making a generous donation to help cover the costs of veterinarian expenses incurred as a result of trapping, spaying and neutering. Injuries, treatment and medication all add to our expenses.

To continue to save cats' lives, we desperately need your help. When Nikki retired, our supporters may have thought Just Strays disbanded. In fact, we are working as hard as ever with far less resources available to us. The veterinarians that work with us give us discounts but the reality is we are receiving more calls for assistance and come across more cats that need altering than we have donations coming in.

The cost to test, neuter and vaccinate one male is $75; the cost for one female is $100 and we schedule an average of 15 cats per week! Injuries, treatment and medication all add to our expenses. We never want to deny assistance to a person or cat due to lack of funds.

Please consider making a donation and allowing us to contine this life-saving work. Any and all donations go directly to cover our veterinarians' fees and supplies.

Please contact Just Strays at (914) 330-4513 or click here and send us an email.

MORE VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED !!!!!
