"I cannot exist without a cat.  Life would not be worth living without a cat."
--Peggy Bacon

SKIPPY M.
Inge was one of five tiny sick kittens rescued behind the Hastings train station.  We weren't sure they would survive but they all did, and here's a letter we received from one of them before Christmas!

It's me Inga!  My new name is Skippy Mittens.  My new home is great.  I love it!  It's purrr-fect!  My new owner is great.  She's really nice to me.  She plays with me every single day!  She also has a bird named Frosty.  Sometimes her loud chirp scares me, but I love her anyway.  My new owner's daddy plays with me every night.  I love him so much.  She also has a 13-year old brother.  Although he stays up in his bedroom most of the time, I still love him.  Her mom is also really nice.  I definitely get spoiled here.  I get so many kisses!  I bet I get more kisses than all the other kitties in the world put together.  I'm so excited for Christmas!  I know I'm gonna have a BLAST! I already saw the stocking with my name on it.  I also saw the treats and I hear that she was getting me a new food bowl for Christmas.  I can't wait.  I love this family.

I'm finally feeling at home.  This is definitely the right place for me!

Much love,

Skippy M
